to win the Women's Denver City Amateur by one stroke.

The First Tee of Denver

Register for First Tee Summer Programs!

Classes are filling up fast so register today!

First Tee – Denver offers a wide variety of programs. All First Tee – Denver programs include First Tee Core Values. Participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences; how to demonstrate sportsmanship whether they win or lose; and how to transfer First Tee Nine Core Values such as responsibility, honesty, integrity, respect and confidence from the golf course to everyday life. The goal for each program is to have purpose-driven programming for every interaction. First Tee – Denver strives for a high level of retention so that the staff can grow with the participants and ultimately see them through college. The vision is for every participant to carry a golf club in one hand and a degree in the other.

Course Improvements

Harvard Gulch Golf Course Update

Harvard Gulch is Now Open

Harvard Gulch Pond and Irrigation Improvements are complete. The following are the benefits of this project:

• Conservation of potable water
• New seating and viewing areas
• Constant water circulation reducing mosquito breeding grounds, population, growth and development
• Restoration of native species and wildlife
• Additional character and a new challenge to the golf course
• Improved irrigation equipment for less water usage and more efficient energy consumption
• Improved course drainage

Kennedy Golf Course Safety Notice

Your safety is very important to us, therefore we have closed the damaged bridge on Creek #9 at Kennedy Golf Course.

The alternate route is still in place while damages are being repaired.

The bridge has been removed and taken to the contractors warehouse to make modifications.  Concrete pours for the caissons will be done early next week.  Sheet piling at the diversions to be installed by mid-next week. 

Construction is expected to be completed sometime in June.

Driving Range Updates

Driving range will close early on Monday evenings and open again early to mid-morning on Tuesdays. Will open again after mowing and maintenance work on Tuesday mornings. 

Mats will be out only one day a week, alternating Mondays and Tuesdays every other week. Schedule is posted on the range machine and on signs around the hitting area. Dates are as follows: Monday, June 7th, Tuesday, June 15th, Monday, June 21st, Tuesday, June 29th...and so on through August.
